Store Review

Your store is underperforming. The pressure to act is real. Redesign it. Cut costs. Reduce staff. Close it? There is another option.

A Store Review aims to identify what is working well and what needs to work harder. Uncovering new design opportunities and incremental, targeted improvements that could save the cost of a full redesign, a closure, or a restructure before those decisions become unavoidable.

And if a full redesign is genuinely the right answer, we’ll say so. As an independent consultant with no stake in the outcome, every recommendation is made purely in the interest of the store and the business behind it.

Who is this for?

The Retail Store Leader

If you are responsible for a retail store, its performance, its design, its customer experience, or its future, and something isn't working as well as it should, a Store Review gives you an independent, expert perspective on why and what could change.

How we work
Every Store Review begins with a short questionnaire to establish the context, the current challenges, and what success looks like for your business. From there, the review is conducted through a series of store visits, observing the environment, the customer journey and the experience at first hand. Additional material such as performance data, brand guidelines and previous design briefs will be considered alongside what is seen in store. Findings and recommendations are delivered as a concise written report, identifying what is working well, what needs to work harder, and where the greatest opportunities lie. Every review is scoped in conversation. The scale of the project, the number of locations, and the complexity of the challenge all inform the approach.
